Solliance Day 2021

28 januari 2021 Solliance Day – ten years of partnership in Solar Research. On the 28th of January, we celebrate this with an on-line seminar with keynote speakers from government and industry. Influencing speakers from industry, governmental organisations and universities will share their vision on the energy transition. We invited Diederik Samsom to share his thoughts on policy, solar energy and the role of research and innovation in a European context. Yuri Sebregts, Executive Vice President Technology and CTO at Shell, will share his vision on the energy transition, from an industrial point of view. Wim Sinke, Principal Scientist Solar Energy at TNO and Jef Poortmans, Program Director PV at imec, will give an outlook on the future developments of solar. The day will kick off with Ton de Jong (Managing Director TNO Energy Transition), Ludo Deferm (Executive Vice President at imec) and Robert-Jan Smits (President of the Executive Board TU/e). Together they will discuss the energy transition and the role of innovation, research and corporation. Solliance Director Ronn Andriessen will end the plenary program with an update of current and future ambitions of Solliance Solar Research in the field of thin-film solar technologies and applications.
